Meu Tio Matou um Cara

Southlogic Studios and the movie Meu Tio Matou um Cara

You open the door, breaking apart the police tape that marks the scene of the crime. You enter the house. As you pass through the corridor that leads to the kitchen, you notice that someone left the phone off the hook. This could be important. You snap a picture. You continue on to the kitchen, where the chalk outline of the victim is clearly marked on the floor.

This is how the movie Meu Tio Matou um Cara begins, from the spectator's point of view. It is not a scene with actors, it is a videogame.

Southlogic Studios created this videogame-format opening for the movie. It is a first-person point of view of walking through a house, looking for clues. The scene is an important tie-in to the movie itself, in which the main character uses his computer skills to help solve a murder mystery.

As you watch the movie, be sure look for the scenes inspired by our video game!

The scene is rendered in realtime using Southlogic Studios' Aspen Engine(TM) indoor technology, the same technology used to power our video games.

You can find some great wallpapers from the videogame for your computer in our Downloads section.
